"WALK-ON"/ON CAMPUS TRY-OUT FOR STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT PHILAU:
If a student who is currently enrolled at Philadelphia University is interested in participating in an on campus try-out for your sport to "walk-on", please have them complete a "Recruit Questionnaire" through Front Rush and notify the Compliance Officer immediately.
PLAY AND PRACTICE LOGS:
Head coaches will be responsible for keeping their Front Rush practice/competition calendars up to date throughout the academic year. They must record all countable athletic related activities (CARA) on a daily basis (e.g. practice, competition, meetings, etc.) and hours should be totaled at the end of each week. The Front Rush system will randomly generate a student-athlete each month to verify that the CARA information is accurate through the software program.
All head coaches are required to maintain an updated monthly log documenting their intial recruitment contact with a PSA to ensure no violation has occurred. These forms will be submitted through Front Rush at the first of every month.
