"WALK-ON"/ON CAMPUS TRY-OUT FOR STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT PHILAU:
If a student who is currently enrolled at Philadelphia University is interested in participating in an on campus try-out for your sport to "walk-on", please provide the student's name to the Compliance Officer immediately. The student will then receive the necessary paperwork for the tryout through Front Rush. The student IS NOT PERMITTED to begin the tryout until the Head Coach has received confirmation from the Compliance Officer and Athletic Trainers that the student is cleared.

PLAY AND PRACTICE LOGS:
Head coaches will be responsible for keeping their Front Rush practice/competition calendars up to date throughout the academic year. They must record all countable athletic related activities (CARA) on a daily basis (e.g. practice, competition, meetings, etc.) and hours should be totaled at the end of each week. The Front Rush system will randomly generate a student-athlete each month to verify that the CARA information is accurate. The Compliance Officier will follow up with that student to make sure they provide confirmation.

RECRUITING LOGS:
All head coaches are required to maintain an updated monthly log documenting their intial recruitment contact with a PSA to ensure no violation has occurred. These contacts are to be tracked through Front Rush. A report will run at the first of every month.
