Celena Rendon Makes Daktronics All-Region 1st Team

Philadelphia, PA- The 2009 Daktronics Division II All-East Region Women's Volleyball Team was recently released and PhilaU senior outside hitter Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) was selected to the first team for her efforts this year. With the first team selection, Rendon is now eligible to be nominated to the All-American team.

Rendon was also named the 2009 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) ‘Player of the Year' and was picked for the CACC All-Conference 1^st Team. Rendon finished the season with 242 kills and 386 digs.
