CN 8 Presents the 6th Annual Philly Basketball Invitational at PhilaU on Tuesday, 12/16/2008

Philadelphia, PA- St. Joseph's Prep will square off against Germantown Academy in CN 8's 6th Annual Philly Basketball Invitational this Tuesday, December 16th at 7:30 p.m.  The junior varsity squads will play at 6 p.m.  Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students/children. 

The game will be tape delayed and will air on CN 8 on Saturday, December 20th at 5 p.m.

Directions to campus:

From Center City Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, Central and Western Pennsylvania

Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) to the Lincoln Drive, Exit 340A. Follow Lincoln Drive to Gypsy Lane (first right - police station on corner.) Gypsy Lane will end at School House Lane. Turn left on School House Lane to Henry Avenue.

From Delaware County

Take City Line Avenue (Rt. 1 North) to Lincoln Drive. Follow directions from Center City Philadelphia.

From Northeast Extension - Pennsylvania Turnpike

Exit Turnpike at Norristown, Plymouth Meeting (Exit #333). Go right after the exit and head east on Germantown Pike to first traffic light. Make a right onto Chemical Road. Go through three lights and at your fourth light, make a left at the five point intersection onto Ridge Pike. Make a left and take Ridge Pike to the Henry Avenue cutoff (bear left). (You'll be on Ridge Pike for approximately 3.5 miles.) Take Henry Avenue about 6 miles to School House Lane.

Public Transportation

By train from 30th Street Station, Suburban Station or Market Street East, take the Chestnut Hill West Line to Queen Lane. Walk west on Wissahickon Avenue to School House Lane. Turn left (south) on School House Lane to the University (a ten-minute walk).
By bus, the SEPTA [Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority] Route 32 bus from Center City stops at the corner of Henry Avenue and School House Lane.
