CACC Awards Two PhilaU Basketball Players Weekly Honors

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University junior center Jess Romano (Horsham, PA/ Hatboro-Horsham) earned CACC Co-Player of the Week and East Regional Women's Hoops 'Star of the Week' honors after averaging 23.5ppg and 12.5 rpg in a 1-1 week for the Lady Rams. She scored a game-high 26 points along with 16 rebounds in the Lady Ram's 68-64 win over Kutztown on December 20^th. She is currently second in the CACC in scoring.

The CACC Honorable Mention award went to PhilaU men's basketball junior guard Russell Frederick (Baltimore, MD/ Calvert Hall), who recorded 29 points, six assists and five rebounds in a loss to Kutztown.
