PhilaU’s ‘A Night with the Philadelphia Four’ a Success

Philadelphia, PA- On Thursday, April 16th Philadelphia University held ‘A Night with the Philadelphia Four' on campus by welcoming students, alumni, community members and supporters for an evening of fun.  The event was co-sponsored by the Philadelphia Four, which includes Philadelphia University, Holy Family University, Chestnut Hill College and the University of the Sciences.

"I had a smile on my face the whole night, that was great," said University of Minnesota-Duluth ‘Senior Woman Administrator' Karen Stromme.

Hundreds were on hand to see the Philadelphia Phillies mascot- the Phillie Phanatic mingling with those in attendance and even learning how to Irish dance with the Coyle School of Irish Dance.  Performances were also given Magee Rehabilitation Hospital wheelchair basketball, Drums with Attitude, and the Philadelphia University Cheerleaders and Ramettes.  Mascots that joined the fun were the PhilaU ‘Ram', the Chestnut Hill College ‘Griffin' and the Holy Family University ‘Tiger'.

"The hard work that all four Philadelphia institutions put into this event really paid off in the end as our goal of bringing diversity and inclusion from many different groups to PhilaU was evident," said PhilaU Associate AD/event coordinator Lynn Tubman.
