Phillie Phanatic Comes to Philadelphia University on April 16th

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University welcomes the community to a free event on Thursday, April 16th at 6:30 p.m.-‘A Night Out with the Philadelphia Four'.  The event will be held on PhilaU's campus, at the Gallagher Athletic Center and will feature the Philadelphia Phillie's mascot the Phillie Phanatic, free food and t-shirt giveaways along with performances by local organizations. 

Before the night kicks off, the 1st Annual 'Spinelli Cup' basketball game will be played at 5:30 on Herb Magee Court- pitting faculty and staff in a ferocious test of "who's got game."  Come cheer on the faculty/staff at the Spinelli Cup game at 5:30 p.m.

'A Night Out with the Philadelphia Four' will be held conjunction with the NCAA Division II Community Engagement Workshop, and is co-sponsored by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) and the four Philadelphia area NCAA Division II institutions: Philadelphia University, Chestnut Hill College, Holy Family University and the University of the Sciences.

Performances will include: the Coyle School of Irish Dance, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital wheelchair basketball, Drums with Attitude, and the Philadelphia University Cheerleaders and Ramettes.
