Lady Rams Down Chestnut Hill 83-41
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University Lady Rams (9-5, 4-1 CACC) defeated the Chestnut Hill College Lady Griffins (2-11, 1-4 CACC) 83-41 on Wednesday evening at the Gallagher Center.
The Lady Rams jumped out 42-26 lead in the first half, led by sophomore guard Stephanie Agger (N. Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May) who had 10 points along with freshman forward Christine Wooding (Northfield, NJ/Mainland) who contributed 12 points and six rebounds.
In the second half, the Lady Rams' proved to be too much for the Lady Griffins as they outscored the their opponent 41-15. Wooding and Agger both finished the night with 16 points, while junior center Jess Romano (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) chipped in with nine points and 13 rebounds to help guide the Lady Rams to victory.
The Lady Rams take the court next when they travel to Nyack College on January 20th at 6:00 PM.
