- The roof at the Gallagher Athletic Center may need to be checked after the #25 Philadelphia University Rams (3-2, 1-0 CACC) blew the top off in a 68-64 win over visiting #7 Merrimack College (0-2, 0-1 NE-10) on Saturday afternoon. In a standing room only crowd, PhilaU Head Coach Herb Magee was honored for 50 years at the University as his Rams upset the nationally-ranked Warriors.

The Philadelphia University women’s volleyball team (32-5, 17-2 CACC) advanced to the CACC Championship match in a 3-0 win over Caldwell College (21-12, 16-3 CACC) on Friday night. This will be the third year (of four) that the Lady Rams have made it to the title match. Senior middle-hitter Molly Malone (Rochester, NY/ Gates Chili) earned her 500th career block in the win, racking up three blocks along with nine kills and two digs.

Trisha Sileo of Philadelphia University was named Rookie of the Year, while Seamus O’Connor of Chestnut Hill was voted Coach of the Year.
