Several PhilaU Athletes Garner CACC Honors

Philadelphia, PA- Several Philadelphia University athletes were honored by the CACC for the week ending MArch 29th.

Freshman Adrian Torreolla-Cruz (Gainesville, Fl/Gainsville) was tabbed Men's Tennis CACC Player of the Week and CACC Rookie of the Week. Cruz helped lead the Rams to a 2-0 week that included holding both Caldwell and Bloomfield scoreless. He was 2-0 for the week at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.

Freshman Manoli Sgouros (Forest Hills, NY/Holly Cross) was named Honorable Mention after going 2-0 on the week in singles and doubles.

Women's lacrosse sophomore midfielder Michelle O'Hanlon (Springfield, PA/Springfield) was named to the CACC honorable mention list after recording four goals and two assists in a 25-7 victory over Chestnut Hill College.

Men's tennis returns to action Thursday, April 2nd against University of the Sciences at 3:00 p.m. and lacrosse hosts Dominican College Saturday, April 4th at 1:00 p.m.
