Fall 2008 Highlights
The Lady Rams wrapped up the 2008 season with two titles: an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship and a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) regular season championship. The squad finished with a 12-7-4 overall record, 8-0-3 CACC as Head Coach George Dunbar was named CACC Coach of the Year. The Lady Rams fell in the CACC Championship 1-0 to Georgian Court University. Here are the key contributors for the Lady Rams this season:
Senior goalie Sarah Hall earned CACC Player of the Year and Daktronics All-East Region accolades. She registered 115 saves, a .833 save percentage and a 1.05 goals against average. She also recorded five shutouts during the season.
Senior forward Brianna Reinford was named to the CACC All Tournament Team after registering two goals in the CACC Tournament. She scored the lone goal in the Lady Rams ECAC Championship 1-0 win against Molloy College. Reinford finished her final season with eight goals, including four game-winners for a total of 18 points.
Senior defender/midfielder Rebecca Kennedy was also named to the CACC All-Conference 1st Team as she tallied one goal and five assists. Kennedy's veteran leadership was a staple of the Lady Ram defense.
Senior midfielder Christy Bauckman earned CACC All-Tournament Team honors as she finished the season with four assists in 21 games.
