Brennan, Frederick Seize CACC Weekly Honors

Philadelphia, PA- Two Philadelphia University basketball student-athletes have earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) ‘Honorable Mention' accolades for the week ending on January 10^th, 2010.

Men's basketball senior guard Russell Frederick (Baltimore, MD/ Calvert Hall) was tabbed after notching a new career-high of 31 points in a 69-59 win over Felician College last Saturday. For the season, he is averaging a team-high 18.3 points per game.

Women's basketball senior forward Kate Brennan (Stratford, NJ/ Sterling) averaged 17.7 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for the Lady Rams. On the season, she is averaging 14.4 ppg and had made a team-high 26 treys.
