CACC Weekly Honors Go to Four PhilaU Student-Athletes

Philadelphia, PA- Four Philadelphia University student-athletes have been included in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly awards.

Highlighting this week's award winners is women's soccer freshman goalie Kelli Kowalewski (Shamong, NJ/ Seneca) who was named CACC ‘Rookie of the Week' for the first time.  Kowalewski led the Lady Rams to a 1-0 double-overtime win over Georgian Court last week. 

Also on the women's soccer roster, junior midfielder/forward Natalie Vespe (Acto, NJ/ St. Joseph) was tabbed honorable mention as she scored the game-winning goal vs. GCU.

Men's soccer senior forward Svetozar Gladic (Novi Sad, Serbia) and volleyball's senior outside hitter Celena Rendon also earned honorable mention accolades for their performances last week.
