Rams Register Three CACC Weekly Accolades

Philadelphia, PA- Three Philadelphia University student-athletes have earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) awards, the first of November.

Headlining the list is women's freshman midfielder Melissa Copeland (East Islip, NY/ Islip Terrace) who was named CACC ‘Rookie of the Week' after racking up seven points last week, helped by a hat trick in the Lady Ram's 6-0 win over Concordia.  It is her first ROW award.

Fellow women's soccer player- sophomore forward Gabrielle Haden (Freehold,  NJ/ Colts Neck) earned a ‘Honorable Mention' nod as she scored both game-winners last week, including a header to win a double overtime match vs. Holy Family). 

Women's volleyball senior defensive specialist Cindy Adams (Fleetwood, PA/ Fleetwood) also earned ‘Honorable Mention' as she averaged 4.38 digs in a 3-0 week for PhilaU.
