CACC Awards Go Out to Kathleen Maurer, Kyle Burke

Philadelphia, PA- The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) released the latest weekly awards, and two Philadelphia University student-athletes have been included on the list.

PhilaU senior women’s lacrosse midfielder Kathleen Maurer (Rochester, NY/ Our Lady of Mercy) was named ‘Player of the Week’ for 15 points, including eight goals last week.  On the week, Maurer led the Lady Rams to a 2-0 record, including tallying five goals and three assists in a 15-8 victory over Wilmington.

Men’s tennis freshman Kyle Burke (Wakefield, RI/ Kingston, RI) notched his first ‘Rookie of the Week’ award after going undefeated in singles and doubles last week to help the Rams to two conference wins.
