Two PhilaU Spring Athletes Earn CACC Honors

Philadelphia, PA- Two Philadelphia University spring student-athletes were named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly ‘Honorable Mention’ today.

PhilaU junior men’s tennis player Manoli Sgouros earned his spot with a four win Sunday over the weekend.  He played at the #3 singles position and teamed with fellow junior Adrian Torroella-Cruz at #1 doubles.  The Rams beat Tiffin University and Stonehill College in Florida.

Women’s lacrosse freshman attack/midfielder Emily Ray took her first-ever CACC honor after posting five goals on seven shots in a 19-6 conference win at Post University on Sunday.
