CACC Weekly Awards Honor Two PhilaU Athletes

New Haven, CT- Two Philadelphia University spring student-athletes garnered Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly awards after standout performances this past week. 

The awards were highlighted by men’s tennis junior #2 singles player Manoli Sgouros taking ‘Player of the Week’ accolades after going perfect at #2 singles and 2-0 at #2 doubles, giving up just one game between four matches. 

On the softball diamond, junior pitcher Ali Schmidt earned ‘Honorable Mention’ after going 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in two starts last week.
