Heston Records ‘Rookie of the Week’, as CACC Awards Three

Philadelphia, PA- Three Philadelphia University fall student-athletes have been honored by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in their weekly awards.

PhilaU men’s soccer rookie goalie Alex Heston received his first ‘Rookie of the Week’ nod after recording an 1-0 shutout in double overtime against West Chester University.  In that victory, Heston stopped seven shots.

Also receiving ‘Honorable Mention’ were men’s soccer junior midfielder Ryan Purnell and women’s volleyball sophomore outside-hitter Danielle Carney.
