Duke Pototsky Honored with ‘Time, Talent & Treasure’ Award

Philadelphia, PA- A message from David Gingras’69:

Fellow Alumni Athletes,

One of our own, Harold "Duke" Pototsky, Class of 1958, is being honored at the Saturday (10/1) Homecoming dinner with the "Time, Talent and Treasure" Award for distinguished service to Philadelphia University.

Duke played soccer and basketball for Coach Bucky Harris and has continued to support both PhilaU Athletic Department and the Alumni Association since graduating in 1958.

Duke has served as the Alumni Board President and as a trustee of the University.   He personally recruited his Class of 1958 alumni to support the annual Alumni campaign and special projects like the Bucky Harris Gymnasium and the Bucky and Lorraine Harris Scholarship Fund.   The Class of 1958 continuously leads all alumni classes in the percentage of alumni participating in the Annual Fund

I’m asking fellow friends and alumni to come out to see Duke be recognized with the "Time, Talent and Treasure" Award next Saturday night, October 1st.   Duke has always made it a point to attend when any alumni athletes are involved in an event.  He has often generously given his time and resources to the further development of what now is proudly PhilaU.   He has always donated generously and has gotten fellow alumni to help PhilaU become what it is today.

I hope you can find the time to honor a great alumnus and friend of the University.

Thanks,
Dave Gingras, Class of 1969
