Men’s Basketball
Last Week: The Rams (9-4, 5-0 CACC) did not play last week, their final off week of the season. From here on out Philadelphia will play at least two games a week.
This Week: Philadelphia begins a busy week with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at Chestnut Hill on Monday. On Thursday the Rams play their final non-conference game on the year at Washington Adventist. The week ends on Saturday with a home contest against Bloomfield College. The John '70 and Barbara Pierantozzi Scholarship Celebration will be held at halftime of Saturday’s game.
Need to Know: The Rams are the best shooting team in the CACC, ranking first in field goal percentage (.494), three-point percentage (.411) and free throw percentage (.767).
Women’s Basketball
Last Week: Christine Wooding netted a career-high 32 points, including her 1,000th career point, as the Lady Rams (11-4, 6-1 CACC) defeated Georgian Court, 96-77, last Tuesday.
This Week: Philadelphia closes out a four-game road stretch with games at CACC opponent Chestnut Hill on Monday and at Washington Adventist, the team’s final non-conference game of the year, on Thursday. The Lady Rams return home to take on Bloomfield Saturday afternoon.
Need to Know: Wooding is the 26th women’s basketball player to score at least 1,000 career points. Stephanie Agger is 37 points away from becoming the program’s 27th 1,000-point scorer.
