PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia University men’s track’s Cody Borders (Hanover, Pa./South Western) and women’s track’s Alyssa Litty (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) were named the recipients of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference’s (CACC) Top XV Award by the conference office.
The Top XV Award, which is being awarded by the CACC for the second straight year, goes to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the 15 CACC championships.
Borders is a mechanical engineering major with a 3.918 GPA. He won the 3,000-meter steeplechase, came in seventh in the 5,000-meter run, and was eighth in the 1,500-meter run at the inaugural CACC men’s track championship.
Litty is a health sciences major and has a 3.959 GPA. In the CACC women’s track championship, Litty finished second in the 10,000-meter run and third in the 5,000-meter run.
