In 2017-18, Rose Kelly enters her seventh year with the Rams' athletic department after joining in the summer 2011. She presently serves as the Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA), a position she was promoted to in July 2016.
Rose primarily oversees the NCAA Division II compliance office for Jefferson's 17 intercollegiate athletic programs, totaling over 300+ student-athletes, in accordance with the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). In addition, she also manages and organizes special events within the athletic department such as senior days, the year-end awards banquet and Ram Madness. Rose also works as a trained case investigator, advisor and hearing board member on the Division of Student Life Title IX Committee for Sexual Misconduct on-campus. Additionally, she leads the Rams’ Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as the advisor. Rose is also a member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) and previously served on the NCAA DII men’s soccer regional advisory committee (RAC) from 2014-2017.
An active administrator within the conference, she currently sits on the CACC Championships Committee, Gender Equity Committee and Spring Festival Committee. This year, Rose was selected to participate as a mentee in the 2017-18 NCAA and Division II Athletic Directors Association Women and Minorities Mentoring Program.
Rose was promoted to Associate Director of Athletics after working as the Assistant AD/SWA from August 2013 to July 2016. She started her career in the Rams' athletic department as the Administrative Assistant in June 2011.
Rose is an alumnus of Philadelphia University. While an undergraduate student, she was a student-athlete on the field hockey team and a student worker in the athletic department. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2010 and went on to work in the athletic department as a graduate assistant, earning her master’s of business administration in 2011.
She is originally from and currently resides in Drexel Hill, Pa.
