General Information: 

The Philadelphia University Cheerleading squad will be holding video tryouts again this year. The deadline for submission of a tryout video will be Saturday, June 30.  Be sure to include a current email address (your Philau email preferably) as you will be notified via email by Sunday, July 8.

Please include a short cheer, 4 jumps which should include, toe touch, right and left hurdler and a pike. Also, please include stunting position (base backspot, flyer etc.) and any tumbling.

If you can not make a video displaying stunting we will accept a video from your current team as long as it is clearly noted where you are on the video.

About the Cheerleading Squad:

We are currently a female squad that supports the men's and women's basketball teams. We are also involved in other special events through the Athletic Department and the University. At this time we do not offer scholarships, but the team covers all expenses associated with cheerleading (except sneakers). We stress we only want those that can truly dedicate themselves to the program. We practice 2-3 times per week from October through February; we do not practice over winter break.
