Farbman Receives Rookie of the Week Accolades From Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference
May 12, 2008Freshman right-hander Jared Farbman (Philadelphia, Pa./Central HS; pictured) has earned Rookie of the Week honors from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) for games played from May 5-11, 2008. It marks the first CACC weekly award for the talented newcomer, who finished his first collegiate campaign with a sparkling 6-0 record, one save, an ERA of 2.89, 54 strikeouts (vs. just 29 bases-on-balls), and a league-leading three shutouts.
