Golf Closes Second at Tom Ruggieri Invitational II

4/10/08 -- Sophomore James Presto (Bethlehem, PA) and junior Josh Minton (Cinnaminson, NJ) each finished tied for third for Widener, which ended second at Tom Ruggieri Invitational II in Wallingford, PA.

Minton and Presto each carded 84.  Gregory Warrington of Neumann won with 75 and teammate Mark Van Vliet was second with 77.

Junior Joe Jacoby (Wilmington, DE) ended tied for fifth with 85, John Ksionska (Fairless Hills, PA) was tied for eighth with 87 and fellow freshman Anthony Alvernes (Westfield, NJ) closed 10th by shooting 89.

Neumann won with 327, Widener carded 340, Arcadia ended third with 386 and Philadelphia University was fourth with 401.

Widener on Monday plays in the Bent Creek Invitational, hosted by Franklin & Marshall College, in Lititz, PA.
