Baseball Completes Trip South With 10-0 Loss at CSU
Columbus, GA - The Philadelphia University baseball team (1-3) completed their trip south with a 10-0 loss to Columbus State University (3-5) on Sunday afternoon.
PhilaU junior hurler Brian Rousseau (Wantagh, NY/ Wantagh) (0-1) suffered the loss for the Rams. He went 4.2 innings, allowed six hits, five runs, walked four, and struck out two. Junior Tyler Mentzer (Gettysburg, PA/ Delone Catholic), senior Kyle Noonan (Morristown, NJ/ Morristown), sophomore Matt Fischer (Philadelphia, PA/ St. Joe's Prep), and sophomore Matt Minakowski (Roslyn, PA/ Abington) had the four hits for Philadelphia (1-2).
CSU completed its series by pounding out 10 hits and got six innings from starter Chris Snipes in the contest. For the three-game set, CSU outscored the Rams 35-0.
