PhilaU Head Baseball Coach Mark Heineman Resigns
Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University Director of Athletics Tom Shirley has announced the resignation of head baseball coach Mark Heineman, effective immediately.
Heineman will leave Philadelphia University to pursue other opportunities.
"I feel blessed to have coached an outstanding group of student-athletes over the last six years," said Heineman. "Philadelphia University is an outstanding university with a solid athletic department and I'm confident that will continue for many years to come," he said.
Heineman served as the Ram's head coach for four years, after working for two as an assistant. He was named CACC ‘Coach of the Year' in 2008, leading PhilaU to a regular-season championship. He held a 64-104 overall win/loss record with the Rams.
