Field Hockey Earns Win Against Philadelphia Biblical University 3-0

registered two second-half goals for the Philadelphia University
field hockey team on Thursday, October 11th, helping the Lady Rams
to a 3-0 win at Philadelphia Biblical
University. The win snaps a three-game losing streak for Head
Coach Christy Knab's squad as they improve to 4-11
overall on the season.
Junior midfielder/forward Carson Mumma staked the
Lady Rams to a 1-0 lead just 5:16 into the contest with her fourth
goal of the season. Piontkowski stretched the lead to 2-0
with a goal at the 38:34 mark before adding her second of the game
and her team-high ninth of the season to seal the game with just
under eight minutes remaining. In goal, senior goalkeeper
Anne Strobel earned her first victory of the
season for Philadelphia University, which will be back in action at
LIU-C.W. Post on Saturday, October 13th.
