Woodland Scores But Lady Rams Lose 2-1 at Millersville

Millersville, PA- Senior Brooke Woodland scored her 11th goal of the season, but it wouldn't be enough as the Lady Ram's field hockey squad (3-9) were tripped up in a 2-1 loss at Millersville (4-6) on a crisp Thursday afternoon.
Woodland scored at 30:40, the fifth game in a row she has a goal.
The Marauders tied the game 1-1 at 46:08 in the second period on a penalty stroke by Krista Bupp, followed by Jessica Cave with the game-winner at 56:35
The Lady Rams outshot the Marauders 8-6.
Senior goalie Anne Strobel (Middlebury, CT/ Pomperaug) had two saves.
Phila U. travels to C.W. Post on Sunday, October 5th for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
