Field Hockey Senior Brooke Woodland Named NFHCA All-Star

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University senior Brooke Woodland (West Grove, PA/ Avon Grove) has been selected as one of just 19 women on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) ‘South' All-Star team.  The South All-Stars will face-off against the ‘North' All-Stars on Saturday, November 22nd at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky at 5:30 p.m. for the NFHCA Division II All-Star game. 

Woodland, an All-American candidate, led her PhilaU squad with a team-high 15 goals this season, including two game-winning shots.  With her 15 scores this season, she tied the school record which she set in 2006.  Her career accolades have been many and include the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team, Womensfieldhockey.com freshman All-America and ECAC Division II Player of the Week
