Field Hockey Falls Just Short in 2-1 Loss at Misericordia

Dallas, PA- The Philadelphia University field hockey team fell 2-1 to Misericordia University 2-1 on Thursday night. Senior Brooke Woodland (West Grove, PA/ Avon Grove) scored the lone goal for the Lady Rams to give them an early 1-0 lead, but MU netted two second half goals to get the victory.
Junior goalie Stivi Genca (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Township) had nine saves for Phila U.
The Lady Rams will head to Shippensburg University on Tuesday, September 16th for a 6:00 p.m. road game.
