Field Hockey 2008 Season Wrapup

The Philadelphia University field hockey team wrapped up the 2008 season on a three-game winning streak before falling to the #1 nationally-ranked Bloomsburg University squad. The team finished with a 6-11 record. The following are highlights of key contributors to the 2008 Lady Ram season

Men's Tennis Team Play for CACC Title

The top two seeds in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Tennis Tournament, Concordia College and Philadelphia University, won their semi-final matches this afternoon to advance to the championship match later this week. The Clippers and Rams both won by 5-0 scores today. They will meet on Thursday at 3:00 pm at Chestnut Hill College for the title.

Philadelphia University Drops NCAA Division II Field Hockey

Philadelphia University Director of Athletics Tom Shirley announced today that the Philadelphia University women’s field hockey program will be discontinued as an intercollegiate sport, effective immediately.
