Wilmington, DE- The Philadelphia University golf team picked up a sixth-place overall finish today at the Swarthmore Fall Invitational, held at Rock Manor Country Club. The Rams competed against 12 other colleges/universities.
Freshman Anthony Hopkins (Cherry Hill, NJ/ Cherry Hill East) led the Rams with a 18th-place individual finish (83) on the par 71 course that totaled 6,405 yards.
Other scorers for PhilaU included rookie Brendan Murray (Beesleys Point, NJ/ St. Augustine Prep) who tied for 23rd (84) and sophomore Stanley Chun (San Francisco, CA/ Palo Alto) who tied for 29th (85).
The Rams return to action on Wednesday (10/21) as they make-up a rained out contest vs. Chestnut Hill and University of the Sciences at The Ace Club at 1:00 p.m.
