Golf Completes CACC Tournament at Lyman Orchards
Waterbury, CT- The Philadelphia University golf team wrapped the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships at the Lyman Orchards Golf Club on Tuesday evening, finishing in eighth place out of 11 spots.
The Rams were led by high scorer sophomore Ryan O’Donnell (Newtown Sq., PA/ Marple Newtown), who shot an 80 on day one and an 87 in the final day of competition on the par 72 course.
Defending champions Post University won the tournament for the fifth-straight year.
PhilaU also got a strong performance from sophomore Stanley Chun (San Francisco, PA/ Palo Alto) who shot an 85 and 88 over both days.
The Rams return to action on Saturday (4/17) in a home meet at The Ace Club when they host Swarthmore and Caldwell College for a 1:00 p.m. tee-time.
