Golf Chips in 8th Place Finish at Widener Invitational
Wilmington, DE- The Philadelphia University golf team took an eighth-place finish out of 10 teams at the Widener Invitational on Monday afternoon, held at the Brandywine Country Club.
The Rams were led by sophomore Brad Krohl’s (Clifton Park, NY/ Shenendehowa) sixth-place overall individual finish of 77 on the par 72 course. Sophomore Ryan O’Donnell (Newtown Sq., PA/ Marple Newtown) was next best tying for 31st with an 86.
Other scorers for PhilaU included sophomore Stanley Chun’s (San Francisco, CA/ Palo Alto) tie for 37th, freshman Brendan Murray’s (Beesleys Pt., NJ/ St. Augustine) tie for 39th and senior Russ Pierson’s (Tannersville, PA/ Pocono Mtn. East) tie for 43rd place.
The Rams play their final event of the spring season on Sunday (4/25) as they host both Felician College and Chestnut Hill College at The Ace Club at 1:00 p.m.
