Men’s Tennis and Golf Seniors Honored This Week

Philadelphia, PA- This week Philadelphia University’s Athletic Director Tom Shirley honored the three seniors graduating from the men’s tennis and golf teams.

The golf team recognized two seniors Joe Barricelli (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream North) and Russell Pierson (Tannersville, PA/Pocono Mountain East).  Barricelli shot a season low of 87 at the PhilaU Tri-Match on 10/10/09.  At the Wilmington Fall Classic Pierson helped the team by scoring a season low of 76.

The men’s tennis team honored senior Mario Bermeo (Tannersville, PA/Notre Dame H.S.).  As a junior Bermeo went 10-9 in singles and 11-7 in doubles.  He was also a part of the 2008-09 CACC Tournament Champion Team.
