PhilaU Golf Brings in One Recruit for Fall 2009-10

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University head golf coach Joe Martin is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Gobrecht (Woodlyn, PA) to the Rams for the 2009-10 season.

"I believe Tim will be a fine addition to a young squad that has a great deal of potential," said Martin.

Gobrecht graduated from Ridley High School, where he excelled in both golf and hockey.  He captained the hockey team in his junior and senior years, and the golf team as a senior.

His average during his senior year was 41 over nine holes. Gobrecht medaled in seven matches this past season and participated in the Philadelphia Junior Tour.

He will be playing in several area tournaments this summer.
