Rams Shoot to Win 58-53 Over USP

Philadelphia, PA- Junior forward Malcolm Ingram (Philadelphia, PA/ Solebury Prep) scored a game-high 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds as his Philadelphia University Rams (9-3, 3-0 CACC) took a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) 58-53 road win from cross-town rival the University of the Sciences-Philadelphia (2-8, 1-2 CACC).

The Rams led from the get-go and held a 32-25 halftime advantage.  PhilaU shot 45% to USP's 38% from field goal range in the contest.

A layup from USP's Brendan Rutledge at 10:26 in the second half narrowed the PhilaU lead to just 42-41.  Clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch sealed the 58-53 win for the Rams.

PhilaU junior forward Mike Yocum (Dresher, PA/ Episcopal Academy) had a solid performance with 14 points and four boards, while USP was led by Jarrod Frazier with 15 points and six rebounds.

The Rams will head to Caldwell in their next CACC matchup on Saturday, January 10th at 3 p.m.
