Men’s Basketball Frederick Named CACC Co-Player of the Week

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University guard Russell Frederick (Joppa, MD/ Calvert Hall) has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Co-Player of the Week for his 27 point performance in a 69-64 non-conference win over St. Rose College (NY) on the road on Saturday.  The win redeemed an NCAA Tournament quadruple overtime loss the Rams suffered last season. 

The Rams open up their home slate on Wednesday, November 19th vs. the University of the District of Columbia at 7 p.m.  Head coach Herb Magee will be honored pre-game for his recent induction into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame.
