PhilaU’s Ingram, Romano Named CACC Weekly Honorable Mention
Philadelphia, PA- Two Philadelphia University basketball student-athletes have been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Honorable Mention for their performances ending on Sunday, November 23rd.
Junior forward Malcolm Ingram (Philadelphia, PA/ Solebury Prep) averaged 17.0 ppg and 8.5 rpg in a 1-1 week for the Rams. The Rams defeated the University of the District of Columbia 78-58 in their home-opener and then fell at West Chester University 65-60.
Junior center Jess Romano (Horsham, PA/ Hatboro-Horsham) scored half of her team's total point tally in a 30 point, nine rebound performance at West Chester. She is currently second in the CACC in scoring, averaging 23.5 ppg. The Lady Rams fell 69-60 in the WCU match-up, as Romano shot 11-17 from the floor.
The Lady Rams host Shippensburg on Tuesday, (11/25) at 6 p.m. for the final November game at home for PhilaU.
