PhilaU Men’s Basketball Ranked #18 in Basketball Times Poll

Philadelphia, PA- In the most recently released Division II preseason poll, the Philadelphia University Rams have been ranked #18 in the country in the Basketball Times Preseason Poll.  The Rams has already received a #25 national ranking in the Division II Bulletin, and a #1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division ranking.  The team also received votes in the NABC Preseason Poll.

PhilaU finished the 2007-08 season with a 22-12 overall record, 16-0 CACC.  The team has also received a #25 national ranking in the Division II Bulletin Preseason Poll, as well as a #1 preseason ranking in the CACC South Division. 

The Rams will kick-off the season on the road- a Saturday, November 15th game vs. St. Rose College at 2 p.m.  The game will be a rematch of the Ram's NCAA Tournament match-up.  They will host their home-opener on Wednesday, November 19th vs. the University of the District of Columbia at 7:00 p.m.
