PhilaU Men’s Basketball to Compete in Disney World DII Tip-Off Classic, Donate Online

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's basketball team will compete in the prestigious Walt Disney World NCAA Division II Tip-Off Classic on November 5^th-8^th, 2009. Coach Herb Magee's Rams were one of only eight DII teams in the country invited to this prestigious tournament, and will host a fundraising event on Saturday, May 2^nd to raise financial support for the trip. Click here to donate. On the online form, under 'Area of Support' please choose Hoop Club (Men's Basketball).

The fundraising event will be a ‘100 Quarter Marathon Game' in which the Rams will compete against each other and fellow PhilaU student-athletes to participate in 100 quarters of basketball. Alumni, supporters, family and friends of the team can contribute by clicking here to submit a flat donation or a ‘per quarter' gift.
