Magee Ties Bobby Knight in 70-67 Win at Post

Waterbury, CT- Philadelphia University (22-6, 14-1 CACC) Head Coach Herb Magee made history with his 902nd win, tying Bobby Knight on the NCAA all-times list with a 70-67 victory over Post University (10-16, 6-10 CACC) on Saturday afternoon.
An unlikely hero, freshman guard Jim Connolly (Harleysville, PA/ Souderton) – recorded 22 points including the game-winning trey to grab the win. On the afternoon, he went 6-11 from beyond the arc.
Senior forward Malcolm Ingram (Philadelphia, PA/ Solebury Prep) added 18 points, 11 rebounds and three assists in the victory.
PhilaU’s Coach Magee could get win number 903 on Tuesday (2/23) to surpass Knight as the all-time wins leader in NCAA wins vs. Goldey-Beacom College at home at 8 p.m.
