PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's head coach Phil Martelli announced that sophomore Temi Adebayo has been granted a release from his scholarship with the Hawks.  Adebayo has been accepted at Philadelphia University, where he will join Coach Herb Magee’s Rams.

"Both Temi and A.J. (Rogers) are seeking opportunities that will allow them increased playing time. They have completed their academic requirements for the year at Saint Joseph's and my hope is that they can enjoy a fulfilling college basketball experience," said Martelli.

Adebayo, a 6-11 center from Ibadan, Nigeria (Montrose Christian H.S.), played in 15 games in his two years at Saint Joseph's, averaging 2.0 minutes per game.  He joins a PhilaU squad that went 27-8 in 2009-10, advancing all the way to the NCAA Sweet 16 before falling to #2 seed Bentley College.
