Ram Madness 2010 Revs Up Hoopsters
Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia University’s annual kick-off to basketball season, Ram Madness, entertained a standing-room only crowd at Herb Magee Court on Thursday night. The event, like many at colleges around the country, is a celebration of the official start of collegiate basketball season. The first official day of practice is Friday (10/15).
The night was full of hoops-related fun, including a game of knock-out, banner contest, relay races and 2010-11 team introductions. The 2009-10 women’s crew team was awarded medals for their season, going all the way to the NCAA National Championships in Gold River, CA.
Academic success was also recognized as the 2009-10 All-Academic student-athletes were acknowledged in an on-court ceremony.
