LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Philadelphia University men's golf team took the top five spots to pick up a dominating victory over the University of the Sciences and the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg on a wet, rainy Saturday afternoon at the ACE Club.
The Rams posted a team score of 324 to claim the win, the team's third of the spring. Pittsburgh-Greensburg came in second with a score of 349, one shot better than the University of the Sciences' 350.
Joe Parker was the individual winner after shooting a round of 79. Ryan O'Donnell finished one shot behind Parker to take second place. Brad Krohl (82), Brandon Capone (83) and Stanley Chun (84) rounded out the top five.
Pat Cliggett was the low-man for the Devils after firing off a round of 84 to finish in a tie for fifth. Joe D'Uva was sixth with a round of 85.
Pittsburgh-Greensburg got a pair of 86s from Jeremy Baloga and Matt Keller, who both came in seventh.
Philadelphia's next competition is the Chestnut Hill Invitational Monday, April 2 at the Westover Country Club in Norristown, Pa.
