Philadelphia Rowing Finishes 11th Overall at Murphy Cup

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's and women's rowing teams competed at the Murphy Cup on the Schuylkill River this past weekend, finishing 11^th overall out of 35 teams.

The men's varsity four team won their final (6:50.51), beating out a Dowling team that had beat them in their heat earlier in the day. The men's junior varsity eight team also fared well, finishing second in their heat and second in the final (6:11.00) just behind Temple.

The women's varsity four team made their final and finished sixth of six teams (8:10.64) at the end of the day. The women's varsity eight took third-place in the petite final (7:00.26).

The Rams return to action on Saturday, April 4^th vs. Washington College on the Schuylkill River.
