Men's Rowing Season Highlights

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's rowing team finished a successful 2009 season earlier this spring, captained by third-year head coach Chris O'Brien.

Highlights of the fall and spring season included: 19^th-place overall at the Dad Vail Regatta, novice 4 silver medal at the Knecht Cup, winning the V4 at the Murphy Cup, a second-place finish in Conshohocken to beat out Villanova and Dowling on the Schuylkill River and a V4 win at the Frostbite Regatta.

The men's rowing team was not eligible to compete in any post-season competition as men's rowing is not an NCAA sanctioned sport.
