Men's Soccer Falls to VMI 1-0 at Ravenhill Field

The Philadelphia University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the visiting Keydets from Virginia Military Institute.  Sophomore goalkeeper Ezra Cassel notched 7 saves for the Rams in the defeat, and it was VMI sophomore Tony Nweke who tallied the game's only goal in the 73rd minute of play.

Both teams mustered 11 shots on the day.  Head Coach Matt Digney's Rams drop to 0-6-1 for the season; and they now look ahead to Wednesday, September 26th when they go for their first win of the season, as they renew their Philadelphia Soccer Seven rivalry with the Temple University Owls. Kickoff time for the match is set for 3:30pm for the game at Temple.
