The Philadelphia University men's soccer team earned its second victory of the season on Tuesday night, taking a 3-1 decision from St. Joseph's University on the road.  The win improves the Rams to 2-9-2 overall on the season and snaps a three-game winless streak.  In addition, the all-time series against the Hawks now stands at 22-12-6 in favor of Philadelphia University.

The Hawks took the lead at 1-0 with a goal at the 26:27 mark, but an own goal by St. Joseph's tied the score at 1-1 just before halftime.  In the second half, the Rams struck quickly to take their first lead of the game when senior Devon Klipp converted a penalty kick 46:42 mark, giving him a two goals on the season.  Senior midfielder Rocco Avallone extended the lead with his first goal of the year with just under ten minutes remaining, helping preserve the win for sophomore goalkeeper Ezra Cassel, who finished with six saves.
