Torroella Advances in Singles, Hutter/Christopher in Doubles at ITA Regionals

Bloomsburg, PA- Philadelphia University freshman Adrian Torroella-Cruz (Gainesville, FL/ Gainesville) advanced in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East ‘A' Singles Tournament after knocking out Bloomfield's Alex Spycher 6-2, 7-6 in the second round to advance to Sunday's quarterfinal match-up against Concordia's Alex Grubin. 

Sophomore Seppi Hutter (Bellvue, WA/ Bellvue) also advanced in ‘B' doubles with freshman teammate Ryan Christopher (Pottstown, PA/ Pottstown) 8-6 over Bloomfield and will face Stonehill College on Sunday in the quarterfinal round. 

In singles ‘B' completion, Hutter won his second round match 8-0 over Lemoyne's David Norton, then fell in the third round to Dowling's Eduardo Riberiro 8-1.
